Cancellation Policy:
Appointments must be cancelled with 24 hours notice.  If you cancel within 24 hours you will be charged for the full amount of the session.

If I have to cancel an appointment for an emergency, you will not be charged for the appointment and will be given 50% off your next session for your inconvenience.

If a client shows any signs or symptoms of an illness that is contraindicated for massage (i.e. fever, rash, contagious infection, under the influence of alcohol and drugs) the session will be rescheduled.  This policy is in place to protect the health of both the client and the therapist. 

Late Policy/Arrival Time:
I will arrive to your house/office 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled session to set up.  If I ever arrive late because of unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or inclement weather it will not affect the length of your massage and the price will be adjusted accordingly.  However, if the therapist is kept waiting the session time may be reduced.  Therapists often times will have several appointments booked and we can not alter other appointments.

Sexual Harassment Policy:
Massage by Sheila is STRICTLY a NON SEXUAL MASSAGE Company.  ANY suggestive or inappropriate actions or statements will result in immediate termination of the session and termination of you as a client of Massage By Sheila.  The client will still be charged for the session and will be refunded of any outstanding sessions left on a package.  Please note that law enforcement will be notified if we deem appropriate.

Confidentiality Policy:
All clients must fill out a health intake form prior to treatment.  This information is completely confidential and will not be shared with anyone without the client’s written consent.  It is important that the client fill out the health form as truthful as possible to ensure that the therapist can provide the client with the best treatment possible.

Payment Policy:
Cash, Checks and Credit Cards are accepted.  Credit Card payments must be made prior to the massage. There will be a $35 charge to anyone with NSF for returned checks.  The session will have to be paid for in full by cash or credit in addition to the NSF charge of $35 before another session will be scheduled.  If you have more than 2 NSF returns you will not be allowed to use a personal check.

Please note that I am not a doctor and I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or perform spinal/skeletal manipulations.  Massage is not a substitute for medical treatment.    If you have any questions or concerns regarding your health or whether or not Massage Therapy is right for you please consult your physician prior to making an appointment.
